Full-Time We are seeking a motivated and experienced Medical Billing and Check-In Staff for our Residential Drug Rehab Program in Gila Bend, Arizona.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the medical billing process and ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims, as well as checking in patients and managing their intake process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the medical billing process for the rehab program, including verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, and following up on denials and appeals.
- Check in patients and manage their intake process, including verifying their insurance coverage and completing necessary paperwork.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding insurance coverage and any financial obligations.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and billing requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in medical billing and/or check-in in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with insurance regulations and billing requirements.
- Experience with electronic health record systems preferred.
