Field Production Technician - Gila Bend Plant

We are seeking a Field Production Technician for its site in Gila Bend, AZ
The Field Production Technician will be responsible for coordinating with the control room operator to handle the movement of raw materials from the field, perform process changes, and investigate and correct equipment issues.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
Maintains a neat and orderly plant and reports to the Plant Manager.
Inspect equipment for process or maintenance problems reporting them to the control room operator or to maintenance by creating work orders.
Perform all needed manual process changes required by the control room operator.
Collects and perform analysis of raw material, and in-process samples.
Responsible for Plant material handling and conveying.
Performs routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment, while assisting maintenance in collecting predictive data.
Maintains accurate and legible process records.
Maintain a satisfactory inventory of all process materials and reorder when needed.
Performs general housekeeping and cleanup throughout the Plant, participates in housekeeping tours.
Conducts weekly emissions inspections and controls process to keep within environmental permitted requirements.
Attends regularly scheduled Safety meetings and implements all CCC and OSHA safe work practices.
Conducts monthly safety observations.
Share responsibility in auditing plant safety equipment.
Troubleshoots operation problems and takes appropriate corrective actions.
Responsible for knowledge of and compliance with all area operating procedures.
Verifies and calibrates various production and in-process testing equipment.
Participates in audits and understands all associated procedures.
Follows all Safety Guidelines and JSP's - makes suggestions for improvement if necessary.
Responsible for personal safety in all aspects of job duties.
Performs other duties as requested by the Plant Manager
A High School Diploma/GED is required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge of kilns, burners, blowers, fan pumps, material conveying equipment, bagging machine screening equipment, pollution control equipment, PLC operator interface, forklift, desktop computer, calculator, and quality control test equipment is preferred.
Good judgment and problem solving skills.
Excellent personal skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
