Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Standards for General Schedule Administrative and Management positions, Quality Assurance Series, 1910. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-7, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes practices, policies and procedures related to executing Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies to assess technical compliance, identify and analyze complex technical problems, while ensuring safety; knowledge of governing Transportation (vehicle maintenance/management) and Logistic regulations, procedures, and instructions and safety and security regulations, practices and procedures; wide range of well-established and commonly applied logistic management principles, concepts and methodologies required in performing varied assignments, operations and/or procedures. Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of the full range of principals, concepts, and methodology related to petroleum products distribution; vehicle operations / vehicle maintenance; and supply; skill to plan, develop and implement affective quality assurance surveillance plans. OR EDUCATION:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE:

You must submit a copy of transcripts. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-7 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-9 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the full range of principals, concepts, and methodology related to petroleum products distribution; vehicle operations / vehicle maintenance; and supply. Person must have obtained an USAF 7 level rating (or equivalent) in the fuels career field as directed by AF/DLA Performance Based Agreement for COR services is highly desired. 2. Knowledge of quality assurance/control concepts, principals, practices, methodology, and skill to plan, develop, and implement quality assurance surveillance plans to evaluate the contractor's compliance to contractual quality requirements. 3. Skill in analyzing and interpreting technical manuals and technical data. 4. Ability to plan, organize, and reprioritize work to meet changing deadlines. 5. Skill in identifying and analyzing a variety of technical problems and developing sound solutions. 6. Skill in effectively communicating both orally and in writing. 7. Ability to receive, screen, review, and verify invoice and supply documents and resolve discrepancies. PART-TIME OR UNPAID

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
